It was a great set. I got to see it from the VIP side stage so it was pretty much the best seat in the house.

I got to speak to Ted, AC & JJ a little bit after the set, they couldn't have been nicer.

AC & JJ were at our set a little later in the night (maybe it was the music or maybe the blackberry wine, who's to say).

Anyway great set.  I know they made at least one new fan as one of my band mates had never heard of them before...he said they had the "Classic AM Radio Vibe".

Clay, give me a shout when you get a chance. I had a quick question for you.

Zesty, I downloaded a "A Quickie in the Cave" from iTunes not too long ago. Love your sound. Didn't know y'all were on this board. Great stuff!

So that would make you and my Mom that have DL'd the CD   I kid, I kid...I paid my Mom back.

Lame jokes aside, thx so much Paul (I looked it up)!

Clay and I got to talking website building back in the version 1.0 days of this site so we talk offline every once and a while. He has been to at least one Soulhound show that I can recall.

Anyway I hop on here from time to time, try not to talk about Soulhound in every post...most of the time failing miserably….it’s why I do more lurking then posting.

Thx again Paul.

Woot woot!!! I caught them on the side stage as well. I loved being able to see the crowd rockin out and how big it got. I swear it was like ten degrees cooler on the stage than the field, so mad props to the dedicated folks who stood in the sun the whole time.
I also caught your set too!!! I was diggin the sound, you had a lot of awesome musicians hanging out during your gig, and you guys brought in some good energy. I would just like to mention that I only had one drink the entire night, and I still enjoyed the set!!! You should see about opening for the guys whenever they finally put up that georiga tour date we've been waiting for. it would be a big party for sure!!

Hey gracyjj.

If you caught us on the VIP stage, then yes there were quite a few cool musicians hanging out during our set. I couldn't see anyone on our Garden Stage set.

We played a few shows with the Legendary JCs a while back when AC was playing with them. They sat in with us and vice versa.  Anyway we know AC a little bit.  He's a great singer, so we tried to get him to come up and sing (I think it was) S Wonder's "I Wish".   No dice. He was happy doin' his thing...hopefully we weren't pestering him.

As far as opening up for the band, we'd love to, yes please.

that was a great small festival ( yeah I know I'm crazy for goin there too,I had a free pass, it was the baltimore show that was the detour for me)

nice hangin with ya vikki , at VA beach and floyd !!

zesty, you guys plaed a heck of a set at the VIP tent, AC didn't care for levon but stuck close to your stage instead, I played the SHIT outta the CD you gave him on the carride home, just kept in on repeat. and that blackberry wine was delicious, they used it the next day to make sangria, hhmmm

Ya know, one day they had sangria, one day they didn’t. I was juicing up at the VIP tent with the sangria one of the days and headed out to the side stage for Galactic.  It’s funny b/c they don’t want any alcohol outside the tent…so I walked out with the sangria and everywhere I went on my way to the stage, they kept stopping me and asking me if I was drinking beer.   “Nope”…and they let me go on my way.  Free pass for artists with sangria I guess.

Anyway thx for the props FireFly!  I guess I should have dropped by here before FF so I could have met some of you Mofroens that were there.

Hopefully we’ll bump into you at some other show or gathering.

Yo hey Zesty. Yeah y'all I've seen them play and the name Soulhound fits. They've got some soul and some funk going on. Damn good shit, no lie.

Sounds like you had some people checking you out man. Next thing you know there'll be a record label knocking on your door and it's goodbye day job and hello stardom!

Anybody in the Atlanta area ought to be checking 'em out.

haha yeah, when we were at the 8x10 show, we were upstairs talking to some fellow mofros (actually a real nice couple that likes to lurk on this board, so I won't metion names, yeah YOU, you know who you are, lol) when a song started and I didn't recognized it right away, I said "shit" new tune, so me and ashley went downstairs and elbowed ourselfs to the right side of the stage, it was " all" something about "I give you all I got, give you all you want", so we stayed there and peaked on the setlist , "slow, hot&sweaty" was on it. sexy song and that line stuck with us allllll night.
I gotta say that I'm a slacker, cause i should have recorded it with my camera, sorry , I let you all down as a mofroFan

but why weren't there any tapers? weird, maybe the club doesn't allow it. I have been lookin but nuttin

I wish I had taken videos, too. I was just having too much fun to use my camera. Sometimes that happens!
