I thought it might be interesting to see how everybody's getting their music. I think it could also be very helpful to the band and their marketing peoples to see how folks' preferences are leaning. (If'n we can get enuf people to vote then I'll send them the poll results.)

it has been a rainy cold day here so I have bean stuck inside and periodically checking this site, emails, fb, laundry etc.

I downloaded the first 4 albums, because after I googled Orange Blossoms that first day and then listened to ALL of the albums on Rhapsody in one long session... I had to have them all right then and there. I had always planned on buying the actual CD's but regretfully haven't yet  BUT I will remedy that with the new album.

For releases by artists I really love, I always dl the album as well as buy the cd. And I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOVE MOFRO! (Just in case anyone was wondering  )

I always buy the CD and then rip it to MP3 and FLAC for personal use.

One thing I remember with the 8 track player is that when I would fast forward to a specific song over and over; it would become habit and do it automatically.

I've gotten pretty spoiled with being able to have that "instant gratification", so I'll probably end up downloading it immediately as soon as it's available.

Hell yes I voted for buying it on 8 track....well I would if I could.
Hell again, I'll buy it on CD because by today's standards and jargon, I am the "Digital Immigrant" as where are my kids are the "Digital Natives", so, as I sit in the back of my livingroom, with my big outdated shoes on my feet, m "Country Ghetto" t-shirt on my back and who knows what on my arse, I look dumbfoundedly at my oldest son when he speaks in that foriegn language of how he can download his music.....hell the only thing that I can download requires for me to flush it down the drain. So, with great honor I will be purchasing the CD, probably through our local music store "Easy Street Records" and most certainly will be enjoying it for the album cover and liner notes, treating it like a box of "Cracker Jacks" with its "toy surprise" on the inside. Just about the time I can even start to figure out all of this downloading stuff, I will be able to just go to my dogs vet, and get chipped the same time they do.

I would download it if in .flac or .shn format and if the download was available before I could buy the cd (which I would also buy) ....but never in the evil .mp3 format!!!
