Cross Creek Blues

'The CD includes 14 songs of many old blues standards and traditionals, as well as six originals by Green and two exclusive vocals by Grey. Also included is the last cut, “Yearling Blues,” a jam put together by the two musicians in the studio.'

This is the same CD that's been out for awhile (there's a thread out there somewhere when Brighter Day, ibleedFLA, & Mr. Pilchard were discussing this album).  I actually saw Willie Green today at the Jacksonville Springing the Blues fest (finally !)  He had this particular CD available for sale, but it had a different cover, so I asked the lady to be sure it was the same (I don't know if this was his manager per se, but she was definitely the one taking care of him and running the show).  Maybe they are just re-releasing it?  The one at the fest today had JJ's picture on it, too - maybe I should have gotten it anyway.  O'well!

Any word on if JJ will offer it with his merch?  That would be a great way to get WG's music out there...

Somehow I doubt it, but that would be cool!

Ordering mine now. We had the pleasure of hearing Willie play acoustic at The Yearling restaurant in April. Such a talent and treat to see him in that setting.
