Greeting!
I shall make this short and sweet (I will reeeeelly try), been crazy busy for days on end and wish I had the time to tell my story, but the pictures will have to do it for me.

Had a wonderful 3.5 day weekend.  We enjoyed our pool in this immense heat. We put up a run of Dill Pickles (7 quarts), Bread and Butter Pickles (7 quarts), and fresh heirloom maters (13 quarts).  Sunday morning I took Sawyer to Riverbend Elem to ride his skateboard, as we have not a spot near by the homestead.  I had a blast watching him, although he is just a beginner, he feels quite comfortable with the board.  When he and I came home, we made a mad dash for the pool to cool off.  For as much work as I did the day prior, I did the opposite Sunday afternoon.  Love the fact that some awesome freedoms are slowly returning as our boys get a tad older.  Like Zach taking Sawyer in the house after the pool and fixing him lunch as Gregg and I lazily and aimlessly float around the pool for well over an hour as we soaked up the sunshine and allowing the crickets and cicadas seranade us.... ahhhhhh, it's the little things, not expectations that make life worth living ~ indeed JJ, indeed!  )

Took in a pretty good flick, "Limitless".  Check it out.  It is about a guy who comes across a pill that allows one to utilize 100% of ones brain power vs the normal 20% and what happens along the way.  Like I said, great flick.

Took Monday off to get in one last awesome summer Family day with the kids before Zach starts HEC Wednesday.  We took the kids to WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge.  Pretty cool hands on establishment.  My favorite part was the bubbles.  As I did not wear the proper foot apparel, clothes toed shoes, I was unable to partake in one of the festivities.  You got all strapped up in a harness and attached to a rope that was hooked above, that allowed you to walk over wires, foam floating ladders, about 35 feet in the air across a course.  It had 3 levels to explore.

Back home as Gregg went to pick up a buddy of Zach's to spend the night, Sawyer is at a friends house for the night, and I have mine to myself, for a few moments anyway.  Sweet and quiet.

Hope you all have a fantabulous and splendiferous week!

Peace, Love, & M*O*F*R*O

(hah!, it was short-er)  :D big grin
