Good Sunday Evening or Monday Morning to you!!
Started out the weekend by renting "Legends of the Guardians ~ the owls of G'houle". Great flick, had the good vs evil, brother against brother, do right by honor vibe to it.
Saturday we played in the pool, cleaned out my car, and cleaned house.
Saturday, Zach and I went into the big city of Asheville with Eva, Norman, and Ryan for dinner and people watching.
First stop was Doc Chey's Noodle House
Gregg has eaten there before and highly recommended it. Very reasonable and quite tastey!!
Zach and I both had the specials. I, the Vietnamese Chicken Salad and Zach the Bangkok Noodles
my deener!! the green pea looking things are edamames and are they delicous!!!! I had an apiteezer and put the rest on my noodle creation!
Well worth the $8 for the huge bowl! I had on a white shirt and did my very bestest to keep it clean......until the end. There was some of the broth left over and was so very incredible, so I took a straw and started to slurp it up, as I did just that, Norman commented (as he ordered the same dish as I) that before the waitress took up his bowl he should have done the same. But as I sucked up the last of those tastey juices, I musta had a hole in my straw, as Eva declared that I had something on my shirt, oh dayum! I went into the bathroom to wash is out and upon entering a brighter lit room, I noticed that I had about 25 dribbles of this sauce on my white shirt, lol, and the night has just begun. Oh well, a souviner of my delicious meal.
We then walked around downtown and did some gazing. I love Asheville!
One of the many statues around town
Here is the plaque describing the above statue
the "Crazy Parking Meter" .... you can tell I don't get out much as something as simple as this amuses me, lol

There are musicians on just about every corner
