Anyone going to the show on Sunday? Been a fan of JJ for years but just now getting to see him this week (missed at least three of his gulf coast area shows unfortunately), and I'm planning to go alone. Honestly, I think its a better experience because you don't have to worry if your friends or whoever is enjoying the music. Really hope he does The Sun is Shining Down though, its been my favorite for a solid four years or so.

I was really impressed. The opening band was pretty good to my surprise. Really glad JJ played Country Ghetto, its one of my favorites off that album. The amount of energy and emotion the whole band brought to the stage was unreal. Glad I finally got to see JJ live, and I look forward to seeing him again. After the show I ran into Todd & Andrew behind the venue. I talked to them for about 5 minutes and they're some chill guys, told them how much I enjoy the music. I waited around about 30 minutes to hopefully find JJ but that was unsuccessful. From what it seemed like I was one of the younger ones in the crowd, I'm not used to that at shows.

Yes, Maggie Koerner is amazing!  "Country Ghetto" holds a very special place in my heart.  They are definitely one of the most personable bands around, and a huge reason why I follow them so extensively...I love that JJ's audiences are so diverse [smile]  Hopefully I'll catch ya around soon!
