Well a blessing in disguise of sorts for me today... Just felt like hollerin bout it.

So with a ton of rain here, all our short track racing as been cancelled for this weekend. I know...BOOOO! Right?

Well hell I was torn anyway. Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings are rockin the hut tonight at The Crofoot Ballroom. I was aggrivated to think I was gonna miss this. Not no mo!!

Had a real nice homecoming show here in the Motor City last week with Bettye LaVette at The Ark. She assured us they've been representing us well out on the road.

Saw an excellent show last month with The Wood Brothers along with Seth Walker, most excellent!

Still not much on the tour schedule for me to be able to consider through the summer as far as Mofro... They'll be in Michigan for the Electric Forest Fest. Not much of a festival kinda kid, neva done one really but the appeal of too many people isn't for me. Although Mofro n Ribs woulda been a no brainer if it weren't for the mileage and timing.

Rombello keeps popping off the page at me... Neva done a cruise either so I suppose it's time to cross that off.

I love The Dirty Ol One Man Band!! And the Dirt Daubers. The legendary shack shakers aren't as good as they were with the Colonel. So glad he formed the Dirt Daubers.
