That is strange that you posted this today. I looked at the same page on the internet today & wondered the same thing.

It's either from the Faith Nation or Alta Zuma days....can't remember which one.

It is the Alma Zuma CD released in 1998.  Audubon was the name of the CD not a song.  It had Santa Claus, True Love and Freedom on it.  Alma Zuma was from 1993-1998, or right before Mofro Magic, aka, Mofro.  It was after Alma Zuma that JJ and Daryl left ot England and became Mofro from there.  Faith Nation was before Alma Zuma in the ealry 90s.  Faith Nation is quite different than the Alma Zuma stuff and even more so than Mofro's "Front Porch Soul".  Very grungy and more hard rock than soul.  I have the disc and listen to it ever now and then.  It's pretty good, but completely different than what they play now.

Thanks DT,  you weren't long getting to the bottom of that! Is the CD still in circulation?

No, it's not in circulation.  It was produced by a really small record label, called like Dijaroo or something.  I don't know of anyone who has a copy.  Jimbo could shed some light onto whether there are any out there or who has them if he doesn't.  I have a copy of the Faith Nation CD which I got about 5 years back.  It's no longer in circulation, but there are more than a few out there that some people have or own.  I wish I had a copy of Alma Zuma.  Hopefully this conversation might round up one or two that we might be able to find a way of distributing a copy so we can all listen.  That is if it is ok with JJ and Daryl or whoever has the rights to it.

If anyone has these and wants me to set up a dropio site (pretty easy filesharing) and its not against policy- I'd love to hear these two.
