I just wanted to clarify something real quick - I thought the event itself was very well organized, great location, very friendly faces although everyone wished for better weather - I have no complaints about that.
We came early, had to leave for a while due to hotel reservation problems and came back.
Oddly never really ran into anyone familiar ( I didn't see you either, Bad Habit).
The 'break' during Thomas Wynn and the Believers' set was a good call and...
there it is - it should have been done the same way when JJGrey and Mofro was playing!
A break - that is why I am disappointed, because it was called off when the storm had passed already.
Brett and tox clarified a few things for me about who called it and who fought it and it eased my pain somewhat, but man...
lazyep you said it right - they poured an entire concerts worth of energy into those few songs and we wanted MORE of that. The wrong call just ruined that moment. The fact that our band walked off that stage so quick and without a fight made it seem to me like it didn't matter to them, but Brett mentioned that there was an  'intense' discussion with their manager backstage and they fought hard to finish playing.
We 'faced that stormy weather together' - we wanted to feel more of that energy, that's all.
Just found this...
