The weather was beautiful, a warm breeze, the birds were serenading us and it just felt so right to enjoy this meal out on our Front Porch.

our snow pea pods and our early red Italian garlic sauteed in butter, yes butter. this is the base of the shrimp dish

here we have place the shrimp (tossed in panko and garlic, onion and spanish paprika and fresh cracked peppercorns and sea salt)  sprinkled with a bit of shaved parm ..... ready to bake ........

a very fresh loaf of Panne Italiano from the bakery

my choice of beverages for this fine evening

seasoned panko coated shrimp baked til crunchie and served with the garlic and butter snow pea pods served over angel hair pasta, adorned with shave parmasean cheese ~ accompanied by a fresh salad utilizing our buttercrisp lettuce and a nice crusty bread

boy oh boy does my belly feel good!!

Oh my...I had been thinking that my pulled turkey tacos were even better the second time around but dang...that Panne Italiano (they actually have that way up there in the South?) by itself blows my tacos right off the table!

I love the "fusion" of the Asian and Italian...very nicely done!

Now that looks deee-lishiss!! I need to get some panko... I always end up using old fashioned flour for breading, and having that extra crunch would add so much!

Sunny, you'll have to do a thread on food photo tips... I've tried taking a few, but I can never get things looking as good in the pic as they do sittin' on the table.

After seeing that,  I'm thinking stuffed salmon, red taters and some spinach for dinner one of these nights.

ain't got much for photo tips cept what I know.  I just love using natural light so I will move my subject closer to a window or outdoors.  I take many shots at many different angles. Out of 50, 8 will look good to me.  I always use my 'macro' setting and will tweak sometimes in my Canon software.  My camera is not like the quality of creative Z nor soflaDave.  Just a Canon Elf Powershot.  Experiment and have fun with it!!
