great photos.  Awesome that he did an in-store down there.

He is by far the most approachable, well-known musician I've ever met.  When we talked to him in the vegetarian restaurant in Bloomington, he was very talkative and never seemed bothered that we had spoken to him.

congrats on getting to meet him and get you pic with him.

TN_Cracka - I wish I had known you needed a ticket - I had an extra that just got "thrown away"!  I'm glad you ended up getting in - yes, what an awesome show!!!  Where were you standing?  What were you wearing?  I see your pic from the Grimey's in-store but only recognize the guy in the middle  For all I know I may have actually met you - I sure met a LOT of great new people that night!  My apologies in advance if I did already meet you - I think I was a bit "chatty" that night, but it was SO much fun!!

I also enjoyed Shannon McNally - more than I thought I would.  I had looked her up earlier and thought she was a little too "country" for my taste, but I really, really liked hearing her live (and would love to see her again).

I agree that the show was a little too short/rushed.  I thought it quite strange that they had two completely different sold-out shows on the same night.  I guess with such a small place that's how they make their money!  JJ was such a trooper outside chatting with everyone.  I actually felt a little sorry for him having to stand out there so long - there was no one there to "save" him.

If you're on facebook then friend me (or whatever you call it) so you can see my pictures from that night - there's a few good ones in there.  I will try to add a link but really have no idea how to do it - My name is Erica Norman - enjoy!
