Well, its ben a bit since I've had a second to check in on my Mofro world. The last time I posted was after my 8th show. It's been 5 months since my last show and I am still basking in the after glow of my 13th. Lucky #13! Located in the same venue from the last post beautiful Red Butte Gardens. Nestled in the crevasse of the Emigration Canyon, next to the U of U in a botanical garden.
This newest album is once again, I believe was written JUST for me! Im a brave lil fighter, paying tic tac toe by myself, turnin' lose and holden on tight. So of coarse I believe that when JJ shakes his hips while playing the tambourine. I, like a 50's girl screaming up at my Elvis, we are on some cosmic level and we connect. JJ, myself, and the audience. Let see, that 8th show was pre-baby. So I saw him in Park City in the VIP while prego and he played Hoochie Coochie Man, then at Snowbird 'tent revival', drove to Red Rocks, CO. to see my trifecta~JJ, Grace Potter and Tedeschi Trucks Band. Not sure if the Southern Soul Assembly counts, but Im gonna! I have his last words still ringing in my head. "Salt Lake City, you never disappoint!" Now I see the connection once again, read my last sentence from my last post. YES, it was just for me!
