Paul Reed Smith . Too light for my liking, but sweet.

At Red Rocks I was talking to Craven Moore about JJ's new axe.  I thought it was a Godin at first.  I never figured JJ to be a PRS kinda guy, but it appears he is now.  I'm with Got Mofro, PRS are some nice guitars, but never been to my liking either.  Gibson, Fender, even a Gretsch or Godin are my chosen guitars.  Maybe I will have to look into PRS on down the line to see if I missed what has impressed JJ so much, but I find it hard to imagine straying from Gibson or Fender...

Oh, and if you want the Starla (the one JJ has) it's $1,249.  The Mira is the cheaper one.

Sorry to correct you Clay...  It would probably have made sense to you if they listed it in a currency you are more familiar with, shillings.  I don't know what the conversion would be off the top of my head, but I imagine it's alot.  Probably a good handful of gold or silver coins and maybe some fine silks from the far east for trade.  Either way, I'm sure you'll figure it out after spending some time on the Abacus.

Now wait a minute. I may be old but an abacus? I quit using an abacus way back about 5 years ago when a coupla the beads broke. Now I've gone back to the currency I used before that--stones. Unfortunately there's no electronic transaction method. To purchase something I have to grind up the rocks into sand and use pack mules to deliver. It's called Paydirt.

I apologize, I had no idea you were no longer an abacist.  Seems not that long ago you had made the transition from using the abax and upgraded to the abacus.  Pretty big step for you if I recall, along the same line of you upgrading from Latin to English, not to mention your writing skills.  Gone are the days of drawings on cave walls and sanskrit.  It's odd to say that you have grown up, because well, how can you grow up when you are an example for the meaning of the word ancient, but you've done quite well in adapting to over the century or centuries.  Seems fitting that your currency is Paydirt, being that you are as old as, if not older, then dirt itself.

(Might take some scholars to know what an abax is, unless you were around when they were invented, like Clay was.)
