Well, I guess like the wife says " if you want to find the mayo, you're going to have to move the milk", so I scrolled down and found the answer. That kinda sucks, selfishly so, for me and some friends, but more importantly for JJ. Hope he's feeling better soon.

Kingcracker, it appears that he's canceled at least through March.
Scroll down the messages here and you'll find the story.
Clay, thanks for keeping the door open

Since Day 1, JJ has been known to take his vocals to the extreme.  Even before Mofro, he not only liked to show his range, but he probably over did in more than a time or two.  Over the past couple of years, he's had a problem every now and then by losing his voice or having trouble hitting the notes he normally had not trouble hitting.  Having a vocal doctor and taking care of himself has probably saved his voice from the path it was headed had he kept to his old ways.  He cancelled the Blues on the Crossroads Tour because he was ordered to rest by his vocal coach.  I heard he was sick on Jam Cruise and with the new record on the horizon, cancelling the tour for him seems logical.

Best way to look at it is that had he not cancelled these shows, in all likelihood, he would have had to cancel others in their place, that being, shows to kick off the new album and summer festivals.  Guess we will just have to be patient, but good things come to those who wait...

King,
I contacted my point of purchase and got a refund, less the service fee.  You may be able to do the same.  If you like contemporary interpretations of the old Chicago blues, it would still be worth attending.  Kim Wilson of the Fab Tbirds and Tinsley Ellis are really really good.  I got roads and weather to battle on this end, as well as 5.5 hrs driving roundtrip on a schoolnight, opted for the refund.
