Hi gang,

What a night last night! Met up with Mark, Jilly and their crew (great folks by the way) at a Chinese restaurant before the show and stuffed our faces before getting to the Horseshoe by 8. Monkey Junk were excellent but only played a short set. If you’re going to any of the shows where they are opening, you should definitely check 'em out. The boys hit the stage just before 9:30, and we all left soaked in sweat about 2 hours later. Amazing show on a tiny club stage, the perfect place to see the band. It was packed solid! Got hit by a few drops of JJ’s sweat, so I will never shower again.

Hey Mark, you ready for duck head next time?

Oh, and Clay, there was indeed a merch table! Thanks buddy.

Pics are below, sorry for spoiling things with my ugly mug in there.

Setlist was:

Everything Good

A Woman

Brighter Days

Hide & Seek

Beautiful World

I Believe

Lazy Fo Acre

The Higher You Climb

Sweetest Thing

Ho Cake

Slow, Hot and Sweaty

Country Ghetto

Orange Blossoms

The Sun Is Shining Down

How Junior Got His Head Put Out

Just made it home form TO. My ears have a ringing in them but thats all right. Another fantastic gig in a very small club setting....Perfect. Big smiles...dancing...drinking...and a 2 hour set list. WYLF. It was hot like a Florida summer. A sunday night in a small club, everyone there was getting everything they came for. Highlights..David standing in front of me taking every second of every minute of every hour with his full attention on the band with a smile like a young kid on Christmas....Priceless. JJ,story intro for The Sun Shining Down about his Grandpa, saw it in this eyes,beautiful....Encore,Junior.....Junior,thats right!!!!! A great night with good people. We are so thankful that we found this music, with out a doubt there is no band that can give us the feeling that this music gives us.  Clay, thanks for putting the time in that it takes to do a site like this.

Great stuff y'all. Love the pic of the M O F R O t-shirts, that's just too cool. Sounds like a great show. Glad they had merch this time David! About time!! Hope you loaded up. Thanks for putting up the setlist. We're on a roll, I don't think we've got any missing for a while. Lazy Fo Acre again...YES! And I love me a Junior encore too. It's in my top 3 encore songs, well maybe top's so damned hard to narrow down and then I end up changing my mind.

Ain't it cold up there? I guess small space+body heat+JJ Grey&Mofro=HOT no matter how cold it is outside.

Always great to put screen names with faces. Good looking bunch of peoples!
