As many of you know, I love to fish... along with that passion, i follow the Bassmasters Elite fishing tournament trail. On the Bassmaster website, there is a columnist named Don Barone who write the human stories of the fishermen. The stories are touching, deep, and can bring you tears with their heartfelt raw emotion. db (as he prefers to be called), likes to include song lyrics that fir in with the stories.   I dropped him an email a couple of weeks ago and suggested he check out JJ & Mofro, Jason Isbell, DBT's and a few others. So many good songs he might be able to use... he emailed me back and said he had spent some $ on iTunes right away, and to thank me for the suggestions. I was surprised to hear from him less than an hour after my initial email. Goes to show the kind of person he is.
Low and behold, this week's installation had something we're all familiar with!  The article is his every week excellence, and the song... well... see for yourself

while you're there, check out some of his other articles. There is alot to the stories behind the people that many of us watch on TV and read about.... more than you may think
