I was thrown off by the electronic mixes of his voice, but after some research, I found that in addition to JJ (not only “A Woman” but also “Sun Is Shining” & “Slow Hot and Sweaty”), they do his contemporaries like Citizen Cope (“Son’s Gonna Rise” & “Somehow”), G Love (“Holla” & “Who’s Got the W---”), and Marc Broussard (“Home”) as well as some from the older generation(s) like Otis Redding (“Dreams To Remember”), Van Morrison (“Into The Mystic”), Johnny Cash (“Folsom Prison Blues”), and Bob Marley (“No Woman No Cry”)—and a cover of “Georgia”…I’ve got to say, I’m intrigued!  At a minimum, he’s got good taste J

Soooooo glad I chose the option to watch on Youtube.  As I was (and couldn't the keyboard player pass for Art's lil brother?), I noticed the "if you liked this, you might like these" clip-links to the right, which about 14-15 down is Spookie's On Fire video (albeit the censored version).  Inexplicably, I've never seen it before.  Absotively hystericulous!!!  And yeah, before you ask, the rock I've been livin' under is located somewhere between Illinois and Nebraska.

You gotta be really bangin' on that guitar to make a bolo tie look good.
