Gotta be brief - the i-net cafe is closing in a few, and the one up the street looks like it houses too many monkey spankers.

Third night in Edinburgh - tons of fun but nearly exhausted.  Haven't got run over by a left-side driver, so that is good.  Room temperature ale was a challenge, until I found cooler rooms to drink it in.  Climbing up steep slippery steps and extinct volcanos in tennies has been another challenge.  I figure as long as I fall uphill, all will be well.

Saw young guys do straightforward blues covers in a whisky bar.  Refreshing that every young guitar player doesn't have to pull out the Joe Bonnamossa impression.  Interesting tasting ales.  And the ol' standby McEwans.  Whisky tastin about to commence.

Spent the day at St Andrews.  Did a little jogging on the west sands and swore I heard Vangelis music.  As cheesy as it sounds, I goosebumped Sunday when a bagpipe busker played Amazing Grace.

More castles tomorrow, One more evening here before nearly 8 hours on the train Wed for the Poole show.  Looking forward to that, followup reports pending on computer/cafe availability.

You gotta be really bangin' on that guitar to make a bolo tie look good.

Sounds like you' re having fun! Have many made the trip over the pond this time around? I remember meeting Bad Habit last time round in London. I'm really looking forward to the Brighton gig on Sunday night - bring it on!!! Happy days!
