Another fun show. Cool venue, in an old train tunnel. Long narrow room with low, arched ceilings. Cramped stage. I don't think there could have been a hundred people in the crowd, but many more were already familiar with the band than the previous night, with many singing along.

JJ's voice seemed a little stronger tonight, as he wasn't singing the high stuff an octave lower than the night before. The band was a little sloppy, but fun sloppy. They were having a blast.

Set quite similar to previous night with War and I Believe taking the place of WYLF and Ybor. Hoping for some seldom-played's tonight in London.

Another good opening set from David Ford, even more intense than Poole. With that layering/looping thing he does, he blew a hole in the roof at one point with guitar riffs, keyboard riffs, percussion, singing, crying, screaming all going on at once. Quite cool.

You gotta be really bangin' on that guitar to make a bolo tie look good.

Jim great to meet you properly in Manchester. Spotted you at the Tunnels, but never got round to having a chat. Good though Bristol was, Manchester was off the register for me. I think Jj and the guys loved it too. Keep in touch my friend. See you next time!
